Zero squeaking. I finally found a shampoo and conditioner from Mr. Smith that suits the Japanese hair type.

Collingwood is my favorite area.
This place has a snobbish atmosphere, and is dotted with interesting cafes, plant shops, interiors, etc. It's the most fashionable place in Melbourne that you'll want to patrol once a week.
I found out that Mr. Smith 's headquarters is also here in Collingwood so I decided to give it a try.

This is not limited to Australia, but it is quite difficult to find shampoo and conditioner that suits Japanese hair quality. I have done research and tried several brands, but I have not been able to find anything that I am satisfied with.
・When washing, it creaks.
・Poor foaming.
・I can't feel the treatment power.
・No shine
・It feels rough to the touch.
Honestly, there's no end to it if I start talking about it. It crossed my mind that I just couldn't make it in this genre... but at the same time, I felt really frustrated.
“It's definitely there. No, I'll definitely find it.”
After further research, we finally came across Mr. Smith.
Since it is a salon-only product, I found it at one hair salon in Fitzroy, an area close to Collingwood.
The products I chose were a bestselling, highly moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
A pure white square bottle with a smart black logo. I fell in love at first sight with the simple and clean packaging that I love. However, no matter how good the design is, you can't know if it suits Japanese hair until you try it.
I tried it out straight away and the results were completely different from any A-beauty product I had tried up until then, and completely opposite to the negative comments I listed above.
・Light and fine foam
・Leaves skin feeling refreshed (no squeaky feeling)
・Foam rinses off easily
・Smooth to the touch
・Healthy glow
As you'd expect from Australia, it also contains neem oil and marula oil to provide UV protection.
My hair, which had become quite dry due to perming and coloring, is becoming moisturized day by day.
I realized once again that just like with skin care, the most important thing when it comes to hair and scalp is to remove all the products.
I also fell in love with the handsome, not-too-sweet scent of frankincense.
Of course, it's genderless. I want to share it with all Japanese people, regardless of age or gender!
Mr. Smith is the best.
