Australian cosmetics are often associated with natural and organic cosmetics, but ALHPHA-H offers powerful products backed by science. Percentage cosmetics are becoming popular in Japan, and this is the brand I came across. The brand has been around for over 25 years, and has many bestsellers.
I was thinking of buying the brand's best-selling Liquid Gold serum, which contains 5% glycolic acid, but it was the Cleansing Balm that drew me in. I love cleansing products and have tried many Japanese brands, so I really wanted to experience their effectiveness on my own skin.

It looked like it had a hard texture, but when I put it on my skin and rubbed it in with my fingertips a few times, it melted into my skin, just as the product name suggests. Balms tend to be a bit clay-like (sticky), but this one feels much lighter than any other I've used before. It glides on my skin very well, and it blends in well with my makeup, so my skin and mind feel stress-free.
The gentle aroma of tangerine, vanilla, and yuzu wafts through the air, allowing you to relax while cleansing. There is no need for double cleansing, and dirt is thoroughly removed. The ingredients are made from Australian wild orange leaves and Australian sandalwood seed oil, and they are committed to using local ingredients for local consumption, which is impressive.

Perhaps because it doesn't strip the skin of the moisture it needs, it leaves it feeling very moisturized after washing. It feels plump and soft to the touch. The lotion mist I use next is absorbed well, which makes my skin clearer and smoother.
Cleansing is the first step in skin care and it definitely changes your skin. This cleanser can be used regardless of skin type or age, so I thought I'd like to use it for a long time.

【ABOUT BRAND】
Founder Michelle Doherty founded the company based on her own experience of suffering from chronic acne in her late teens and twenties. She started using glycolic acid in skin care products that other brands were not using, and created an exfoliating care product that could be done at home instead of in clinics. She believes that exfoliation is essential to keep skin healthy, regardless of age, skin type, or skin concerns.
